This set of color 3D interior decals on decal paper from Kelik is meant for F9F-8 Cougar models in 1:72 scale. Even in this small scale it reproduces the instrument panel, the side consoles and the detail of the cockpit with three-dimensional relief and finished printing, so it gives the driver's compartment a convincing look without demanding micro-painting.
The Grumman F9F Cougar was an American swept-wing carrier jet fighter that grew out of the straight-winged Panther. The F9F-8 version was one of the more capable later machines in the line.
The decals are applied in the usual way — once released from the backing they are transferred to a cleaned, preferably clear-coated surface. In 1:72 scale it is worth working with tweezers and good light, and dosing the softener carefully.
