A set of plastic figures from Italeri in 1:72 scale. The package contains a numerous group of unassembled and unpainted foot soldiers of the French line infantry from the Napoleonic Wars in several different poses.
The line infantry was the backbone of Napoleon's Grande Armée. It was marked by the shako introduced in 1806 and the Charleville pattern musket. Among the figures you will find fusiliers, grenadiers and voltigeurs, and a drummer and an eagle bearer with the regimental standard are there as well.
Separate the small figures carefully from the sprues and clean up the parting lines. For this scale a primer, then layered paint and a light wash into the folds of the uniforms all work well. Dry-brushing the facings and the details of the equipment brings the uniforms to life.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
