Reskit 1:72 auxiliary fuel tanks for the CH-53 and MH-53 (2 pcs) is a resin accessory set of two external tanks for models of heavy helicopters of the CH-53 family. It is not a helicopter model but parts for sharpening a build up.

This set from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit holds two external fuel tanks of the CH-53 and MH-53 helicopters in 1:72 scale, cast in resin. It is an aftermarket accessory, that is parts with which the equipment of a kit is replaced or filled out, and not a helicopter model in its own right. In reality the tanks are carried on the side sponsons and are among the most conspicuous features of the machine's outline, so their accurate shape has a great deal of influence on the final impression of a model.
The Sikorsky CH-53 is an American heavy transport helicopter with three engines in the later versions and a large cargo hold. It serves to carry troops, materiel and slung loads. The MH-53 designation is carried by machines adapted for special operations and for search and rescue tasks in threatened areas; these have expanded avionics and the ability to refuel in flight. External tanks markedly extend the range and are standard equipment on machines of these versions.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent, so that the remains of the mold release agent are removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter rather than with sprue cutters, and sand the surface. Protect your airways while sanding resin. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is super glue, or with a two-part epoxy resin; ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on resin. Apply a base coat before painting, as resin holds a covering layer less well without one. The tanks are usually painted in the same shade as the fuselage, so it pays to spray them together with the whole model.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
