The plastic figure set Zvezda German Headquarters 1939-1942 - a German field headquarters of the Second World War in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures of a German army headquarters of the years 1939 to 1942 in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It is not a vehicle model in its own right but a figure set for bringing dioramas and combat scenes to life. The figures are well detailed, easy to put together and snap together, so glue is not necessary. The set contains figures of staff officers and a base with a flag. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
A field headquarters was there to coordinate the cooperation of different units on the battlefield, to arrange supply and to pass on the orders of higher command. Figures of officers bent over a map are a rewarding addition to dioramas of the early Second World War, whether as a scene of their own or as an accompaniment to vehicle models.
Separate the parts from the sprue carefully and clean up the mold seams. Even though the figures snap together, the joints can be fixed with a drop of cement for plastic to be sure. The uniforms come out well painted in shades of field gray and with the folds lightly emphasized by a wash and drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
