Eduard 1:72 Grumman TBF-1C – photo-etched landing flaps is a photo-etched detail set for a faithful rendition of the lowered landing flaps on a model of the American carrier-based torpedo bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from Eduard for refining the landing flaps on a plastic model of the Grumman TBF-1C Avenger torpedo bomber. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that replaces the simplified plastic parts with finely embossed photo-etched items and lets the flaps be shown in the lowered position.
The Grumman TBF Avenger was an American carrier-based torpedo bomber used in the Second World War, above all in the Pacific. The landing flaps are among the prominent items on the underside of the wing, and lowering them brings the finished model noticeably to life.
For modelers who want to give their Avenger the realistic look of lowered flaps. Working with photo-etched parts calls for a certain amount of experience.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
