This is a 3D-printed resin accessory, not a standalone model. It represents the German 20 liter standard-pattern jerrycan in the form of early production (the 1938 pattern) at the small 1:72 scale. It serves for loading vehicles and for bringing dioramas to life.
The German standard-pattern jerrycan was designed in the second half of the 1930s and became the model for the jerrycans of every army. The early version differed from the later ones in details of the neck and the closure. The three handles, the cross pressed into the sides and the hinged closure are typical.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent. At a small scale separate the small supports with a sharp knife, if need be after warming them in hot water. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue. Given the size, a base color, light dry brushing on the edges and a hint of patina are enough.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
