Plastic kit of the legendary German dive bomber Junkers Ju 87D-3, nicknamed Stuka, in 1:72 scale by Hobby Boss. It is a molded model in gray plastic in the Easy Assembly version, meaning a lower part count and a simpler build; even so it has engraved panel lines, a cockpit and a clear canopy. It represents the late ground-attack D-3 version.
The Ju 87 Stuka was the classic German dive bomber with its gulled wing and fixed landing gear in distinctive spats. The D-3 version was a late ground-attack variant with additional armor for use against ground targets, widely used on the Eastern Front. It became famous for its precise dive attack and unmistakable silhouette.
Thanks to the easy-build design, the model suits less experienced modelers and a faster build too. Paint the cockpit before closing up the fuselage, glue the parts with a thin liquid cement for plastic, and mask the clear canopy. An airbrush handles the camouflage with light undersides best; washes will bring out the panels and the landing gear spats.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
