A plastic kit of the German signals truck Kfz.62 Funkkraftwagen in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer ACE. It is a short-run tooling intended rather for more experienced modelers. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit.
The Kfz.62 Funkkraftwagen was a German radio (signals) vehicle of the Second World War period, built on ordinary truck chassis, among which were for instance the Büssing-NAG, the Mercedes-Benz and the Magirus. The vehicles served as mobile signals and radio posts providing communication between units in the field.
With a short-run tooling expect more careful cleaning up of the parts and a trial fit before gluing. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement. Lay on a primer before painting; the load area, the bed and the chassis come to life with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects. For the national insignia and the stencils use the decal sheet enclosed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
