The model captures the latest upgraded version of the proven Leopard 2 with a rotating turret and multi-part tracks. It is a somewhat more demanding build with a quantity of small parts, suitable for more experienced modelers. The Leopard 2A7V is the current upgrade of the German Leopard 2 main battle tank. It brings strengthened passive protection, an improved fire control system and changes to the drivetrain that raise the combat value of the vehicle. The main armament is a 120 mm smoothbore gun. The Leopard 2 has long been among the most widespread and most respected Western tanks, and the 2A7V version serves with the German army as one of its most modern variants.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. With military vehicles, assemble and paint the tracked running gear and the road wheels before finishing the hull. Lay down a primer and cover with an airbrush; modern tanks are often finished in the three-tone NATO camouflage. Bring out the panel lines and the detail with a wash and, at the end, add fine dust effects with pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
