The M1 Garand rifle (1:72) is a resin weapon set from the Firma49 brand for arming figures and bringing smaller dioramas of the Second World War period to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin (3D printed) set in 1:72 scale is not a vehicle kit but a set of the American M1 Garand self-loading rifle. It serves for arming figures and for dressing dioramas and weapon racks; even in this small scale 3D printing keeps the recognizable proportions of the weapon.
The M1 Garand was the standard self-loading rifle of the US Army in .30-06 caliber from the end of the 1930s. It proved itself as a reliable infantry weapon in the Second World War and in the Korean War as well, and it is among the icons of American armament of the twentieth century. It replaced the older bolt-action rifles and gave the soldier the advantage of faster fire.
Because of the small size, work with tweezers and good lighting. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, separate them carefully from the support blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Render the stock in brown and the metal parts in dark steel; a fine wash will bring out the shape.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
