Wet decals in 1:72 for the Messerschmitt Bf 110C heavy fighter with three Luftwaffe markings from 1939 to 1941, including the machine of Wolfgang Falck of 2./ZG 76.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110C was a twin-engine heavy fighter with a crew of two: the pilot in front and a radio operator at a flexible machine gun behind. The C version was given DB 601 engines and newly squared-off wingtips and became the most widespread form of the type in the period from Poland to the Battle of Britain. The sheet in 1:72 scale covers three particular aircraft of this version.
Falck led his Gruppe in the clashes over the German Bight and later stood at the birth of the night fighter arm. Weissenberger gathered his first experience precisely on a twin-engine machine beyond the Arctic Circle, only then moved to single-engine types and made his name.
The printing is laid on a continuous carrier film, so the individual markings are cut out close around the artwork. The area under the decal should be smooth and glossy, otherwise air is trapped under the film and the artwork goes dull. Once dry, a decal softener will help press the print into the engraved panel lines. In the bag you will find the printed sheet and color drawings. The C version is recognizable at a glance by its squared-off wingtips, so compare the shape of the wing on the parts of your kit with the drawing. Some older molds offer both wingtips in one package and a mix-up is clearly visible on a finished model. The aircraft kit is a separate item.
