Reskit 1:72 weapon mounting frame with the BD3-57KrV carrier for the Mi-8 (early rendering) is a 3D printed resin accessory for Soviet and early Ukrainian helicopters.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two 3D printed resin frames for mounting armament with BD3-57KrV carriers in 1:72 scale from the maker Reskit. It is intended for models of the transport and combat helicopter Mil Mi-8 (Hip) and matches the early rendering used in Soviet and early Ukrainian service. The frames make it possible to hang underslung armament faithfully along the sides of the fuselage.
The Mil Mi-8 is one of the most widespread transport and combat helicopters in the world. The side frames with BD3-57KrV carriers served for hanging bomb dispensers, rocket pods and other stores; their rendering differed between individual users and periods.
Wash the parts free of uncured print resin residue, cut them carefully from the print supports and line them up on the fuselage. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine lattice parts are fragile, so work carefully and do the sanding with respiratory protection.
This is a supporting detail set, not a model of the helicopter. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints, armament and the base kit are not included in the package.
