Quinta Studio 1:72 Mirage 2000 C: a 3D printed colored interior

This variant of the Quinta Studio interior set in 1:72 scale is tailored to a different plastic kit of the single-seat Mirage 2000 C. These are 3D printed colored pieces on decal paper: the instrument panel, the side consoles, the stick and the seat belts, which create a realistic cockpit without painting the small details by hand.

The target kit is the Dream Model one, and that is bought separately.

The real subject

The Dassault Mirage 2000C is a French single-seat supersonic fighter with a delta wing which formed the backbone of the French interceptor force and served with a number of export users as well. A faithful rendition of the instrument panel and the side consoles is the key to the atmosphere of the model.

Use and fitting

• The pieces are shaped precisely for the cockpit of a particular kit of the matching scale.
• Spray the surface with a base color, cut the decals out and apply them to a moistened surface.
• Do not use decal softeners or decal fixers, so that the material does not get damaged.
