A resin model of the Wright R-3350 radial engine in 1:72 scale. A detail accessory for aircraft models; it is not a kit of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin set of a detailed Wright R-3350 radial engine in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a separate, richly broken-down casting of an engine, intended for raising the detail of aircraft models whose subject was powered by this type of engine. The package consists of a set of resin parts that make up a complete engine.
The Wright R-3350 Duplex-Cyclone is an eighteen-cylinder twin-row radial engine that powered a number of large aircraft of the postwar era, for example the Super Constellation, the B-29 and the P-2 Neptune. Its two rows of nine cylinders and extensive pipework make detailed work a rewarding element on models with exposed engines.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the engine section by section; dry brushing and a wash suit the accenting of the cylinders and the pipework. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
