Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains forty-eight figures in eight poses. The subject is the units of the Netherlands militia and the Belgian infantry, that is, the part of the allied army that stood against Napoleon in 1815. The figures are unpainted and molded in one piece.
The Dutch and Belgian regiments made up roughly a fifth of the infantry of the allied army at Waterloo. This was an army still being built, because the independent Kingdom of the Netherlands had come into being shortly before and part of the rank and file had experience of service in the French ranks. The militia battalions took part in the defense of the center of the formation during the battle, and their role was later judged unfairly; the sources, however, record hard fighting for the artillery position on the ridge.
Wash the plastic, dry it and spray it with a flexible primer. The Dutch uniforms had a dark blue coat while the Belgian detachments wore more varied facings, so you can divide a single set into two visually distinct formations. Accentuate the tall shako with a lighter edge, so that it does not merge with the head in a small scale. Once the base coat has dried, unify the formation with a weak brown glaze, and it will then hold together.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
