HäT 1:72 Prussian Reserve Infantry is a set of forty-eight figures of Prussian reserve infantry from the Napoleonic wars.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains forty-eight figures in eight poses, supplied unpainted and without extra bases. The number of pieces is enough for several gaming units or for filling a larger diorama, because the poses repeat in the set in a regular arrangement on the sprues.
The Prussian reserve regiments came into being after 1813, when Prussia rapidly expanded its army following its defeat by France. The soldiers of these formations were at first issued improvised equipment, often simple coats and caps instead of the regulation uniforms, and part of the weaponry came from Russian and British deliveries. Even so the reserve regiments proved themselves in the campaigns of 1813 and 1814, and some of them were later taken into the line.
Wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer, and only then paint. With a mass formation it pays to paint whole sprues at once and separate the figures only after the base coat. The dark blue coats come out when, once dry, you accentuate them with a dry brush in a lighter tone on the edges of the folds. Keep the straps and the equipment lighter, otherwise the whole figure merges together in a small scale.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
