Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzer IV medium tank (Pz.Kpfw.IV) in 1:72 scale from the Italian brand Italeri. The model from the fast assembly series has a lower part count and faithful outlines of the real subject; it typically captures the Ausf. F variant with the 75 mm gun. The package tends to be laid out as a pair of models. The exact contents and the marking options of the particular package are given in the instructions in the box.
The Panzer IV was the most widespread and the longest-produced German medium tank of the Second World War, and it formed the backbone of the German armored forces throughout the conflict. The original versions carried a short 7.5 cm gun meant more for supporting the infantry, while the later variants rearmed with the long 7.5 cm gun of high muzzle velocity became full combat tanks able to destroy even well-armored opponents. It was precisely with the Ausf. F variant that the change from the short barrel to the long one took place. The tank was modernized continually, with armor and side skirts added, and it served on every front until the end of the war.
Assemble and fine-tune the running gear and the lower hull before you close it up and paint it. Even with a fast assembly kit it pays to fill the seams and straighten the barrel. Lay the multi-color German camouflage on with soft transitions using an airbrush, and use a gloss coat under the decals. Build the weathering with dark washes into the joints, a dry brush on the edges and dust and mud pigments on the running gear and the side skirts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
