1:72 RF-4EJ is a set of 3D decals from Kelik for a model of the reconnaissance conversion of the Phantom II. The elements are applied with water and need no painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
The most common reason modelers reach for 3D decals is time. Detail that takes a whole evening to pick out by hand appears here in a few minutes by soaking in water. The elements are printed with relief and colored at the factory, so once they are applied you only have to unify the sheen with varnish.
The RF-4EJ is the reconnaissance conversion of the two-seat machine from the F-4 Phantom II family. It keeps the tandem cockpit layout and the typical silhouette with the cranked wing and the drooping horizontal tail surface. For the model that means long glazing under which the interior is visible along its whole length.
Besides the set itself you will need gloss varnish, a dish of lukewarm water, fine-tipped tweezers and cotton buds. A softener is optional but comes in useful on contoured surfaces. Work in a well-lit place, because elements in 1:72 scale are small and hard to find once they fall.
Smooth the base, spray it with base paint and overcoat it with gloss varnish. Release the element in water, transfer it with tweezers and settle it with a damp brush. Blot up the excess water and let it dry completely, and only then add the softener. At the end unify the whole interior with matte varnish.
It is an accessory for a kit, not a model of the aircraft. The kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
