HäT 1:72 Russian Artillery Crew WWI is a set of thirty-two figures of a Russian artillery crew. The gun is not included.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from HäT. The box holds thirty-two figures in eight poses. These are crew only; the gun is sold separately, so you add the figures to one of the Russian guns in the same range. The figures are unpainted and molded in one piece.
Russian artillery of the First World War rested above all on the 76.2 mm field gun known as the Putilov. The batteries were well trained, but they suffered from a shortage of ammunition that in 1915 turned into a supply crisis for the whole army. Crews therefore often fired on a ration and commanders had to husband rounds even at moments when fire would have decided the issue.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. Russian field color runs between khaki and gray-green; vary the shade slightly between groups. Set the figures out around the gun according to the real drill of a crew, from passing the round to firing. Ammunition boxes, cartridge cases and ruts worn in the earth will give the scene both action and scale.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
