This 3D-printed resin set contains a pair (2 pieces) of Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles, designated SCALP EG in French service. This is not a model, but an authentic ordnance accessory in 1:72 scale. The missile is carried by modern combat aircraft including the Su-24, Tornado, Eurofighter Typhoon, Mirage 2000, Rafale and Nimrod.
Storm Shadow / SCALP EG is a British-French stand-off cruise missile designed to destroy heavily defended ground targets from a long range. It flies low over the terrain, uses combined navigation, and carries a penetrating warhead. It is among the best-known weapons of its kind in the current arsenal of several European air forces.
Wash the resin parts to remove any mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and supports, and sand the cuts with airway protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Given the small scale, handle the supports carefully; a smooth body stands out nicely after a coat of matte paint.
This is an add-on ordnance set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
