The Planet Models MV102 Strv m/37 is a 1:72 resin kit of the Swedish light tank derived from the Czechoslovak Praga AH-IV design.

A resin kit for experienced modelers in 1:72 scale. The whole model is cast in resin and the parts are few, so it can be built over a few evenings. Decals with markings for three vehicles are included, covering both the earlier and the later camouflage finish and a winter scheme. A resin kit is not a plastic one: it is glued with super glue and the parts need preparing before the build.
The Strv m/37 was a light reconnaissance tank which Sweden acquired on the basis of the Praga AH-IV design from Czechoslovak production. The vehicle had a crew of two and machine gun armament of eight millimeters in the turret; the armor was thin and gave no protection against artillery, but the tank was fast, small and undemanding. Forty-eight of them came to the Swedish army and they remained in service until 1953, long after similar vehicles had become obsolete elsewhere.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, so that the mold release residue disappears from them; otherwise neither glue nor paint will hold. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw or a cutter and sand the surface; protect your airways when sanding resin, because the dust is fine. It is glued with super glue. The camouflage of this vehicle is broken up over a small area, so spray it from a distance for a soft edge, or use a masking putty.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
