A turned barrel of the 7.5 cm gun 48 calibers long for the StuG III and StuG IV assault guns, 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The StuG III and StuG IV assault guns were among the most widespread German tracked vehicles of the Second World War. Both carried in the front wall of the superstructure a 7.5 cm gun 48 calibers long, which turned what had originally been an infantry support vehicle into a feared opponent of tanks. The long barrel is the most striking feature of the silhouette of the vehicle, which is why on a model it pays most of all to do it properly.
A turned replacement barrel in 1:72 scale for the assault guns of both types mentioned. The barrel is round and straight over its whole length, with no longitudinal joint and no need to fill and sand anything, and it has a drilled muzzle. In a small scale, where a barrel is barely a millimeter across, cleaning up a glued part is particularly thankless work, and a replacement cuts the job to a few minutes.
It will be appreciated by builders of German equipment in 1:72 scale who want a barrel perfectly straight and with no visible joint. It is one of the simplest modifications with an immediately visible result and even a beginner can manage it, because nothing is bent or cut.
A turned barrel is supplied. A vehicle model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
