The late form of the Tiger I tank in 1:72 scale is completed by this brass set with thin fenders, grilles and fittings in a small scale.

The final form of the German heavy tank differs from the early machines in dozens of small details, and it is precisely those that are lost in a small scale. This brass set from the brand Royal Model gives a model in 1:72 size back the thin fenders, grilles, holds and fittings that molded plastic can only suggest.
The identifying marks are the cast commander's cupola with periscopes instead of the cylindrical structure with vision ports, road wheels with a steel rim and internal springing, a single headlight on the front of the hull and the disappearance of the air filter boxes at the rear. The steel wheels lasted longer and did not crumble like the rubber tire, which the weight of the vehicle destroyed mercilessly. Late machines fought on both fronts to the end of the war, usually in pairs or threes, because there were never enough of them again for a continuous defense.
In 1:72 you work with parts the size of a pinhead, so prepare light, a magnifier and a magnetic mat. Metal holds better on a sprayed base than on bare plastic. Apply the paint thinly and in several layers, so that the relief does not disappear.
The delivery comprises metal parts. Everything needed to work them and paint them you obtain separately.
