CMK 1:72 USS Gato submarine crew (self guard, part II) is a resin set of three figures of US sailors.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds three resin figures in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK. It follows on from the range of crew figures for the US Gato class submarine and shows sailors defending the vessel. The figures are intended for more experienced modelers and add a realistic scene to a submarine model.
Gato class submarines operated in World War II mainly in the Pacific. Besides torpedoes they also had deck and antiaircraft armament for defense on the surface. The figures capture crew members in working stances while operating and protecting the vessel.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and gate remnants and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a base (primer) and paint with acrylic or enamel paints; thin washes bring out the folds of the clothing. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
