HäT 1:72 WWII German on bicycles is a set of twelve German soldiers and twelve bicycles with interchangeable heads and arms.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains twelve figures in four poses and twelve bicycles in one version. The set is a kit: four different heads and eight arms are included, four with rolled-up sleeves and four with long ones, so you can vary the formation. The soldiers wear a steel helmet, a side cap or a helmet with a cover or camouflage foliage.
The bicycle was a common means of infantry transport in the German army throughout the war. Cycle companies appeared with infantry divisions, with reconnaissance detachments and with the field gendarmerie, and in conditions where fuel was lacking they were faster than marching infantry. On the Eastern Front bicycles served mainly in the rear and for movement along made-up roads.
Wash the figures and the bicycles, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. The frame of the bicycle is thin, so take it off the sprue by cutting at the root and sand it only lightly. Lay the heads and arms out dry first and choose the combinations, and only then glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the bicycles dark and set the fenders and handlebars apart in a metal shade. Dusting the lower part of the bicycle with a light pigment gives the scene credibility.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
