An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light tank Panzer II in the Ausf. F version in 1:76 scale from Revell. The model comes from a proven older mold and suits smaller display cases and dioramas as well. The package tends to be equipped with rubber (one-piece) tracks and a decal sheet. Check the exact contents and the markings against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Panzer II was a German light tank that made up a significant part of the German armored forces at the beginning of the Second World War. The Ausf. F version of 1941 was given thicker frontal and side armor. It was armed with a 2 cm automatic cannon and a machine gun. In the later years, when it no longer sufficed in the role of a battle tank, it served mainly for reconnaissance. It was a light, mobile machine weighing around 9.5 tons.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the joints. Finish the running gear first, then fit the rubber tracks and close up the hull. In the small scale fine washes in the panel lines will show to advantage; after the base color and a clear coat under the decals, bring out the detail and suggest dust and mud with pigments according to the battlefield you choose.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
