A pre-colored plastic kit of the sports motorcycle BMW M 1000 RR in the large 1:9 scale from the manufacturer Meng. The parts are molded in color and join by snapping together, so the model is assembled without glue and without any need to spray paint. The fairing and the characteristic winglets carry a fine imitation of a carbon structure, the mirrors use reflective mirror stickers, the brake discs are of stainless steel and the tires of quality vinyl.
The BMW M 1000 RR is the top superbike of the Bavarian brand, derived from the S 1000 RR and tuned for performance on the circuit. It is marked out by an aerodynamic fairing with active winglets and by a high-revving inline four-cylinder engine. It is the first model of the M line among BMW motorcycles and serves as the basis for racing use as well.
Thanks to the pre-colored parts the model is suitable for beginners and for a quick build. Even so we recommend cleaning up the sprue marks and the joints, and possibly bringing out the engraving with a dark washable shade. Anyone who wants to take the result further can unify the matte surfaces with varnish and add panel shadows. Handle the stainless and vinyl parts carefully, so that the visible surfaces are not scratched.
