Responsibility details are not available.
This set of HäT figures in the 28 mm wargaming scale contains thirty-two figures of Prussian infantry in combat poses. Each figure is cast in two parts: the main body and, separately, a pack with a rolled greatcoat and a sword. Because of that, the backs of the figures are worked out just as well as the fronts, which is not usually the case with one-piece figures. They are supplied unpainted and unassembled; the hard plastic is glued with ordinary modeling cement.
The set represents Prussian infantry from the period of the wars of liberation and the campaign of 1815, that is, the army which after its reforms faced Napoleon in a considerably different form from 1806. The soldiers wore a dark blue coat with colored facings according to province and a shako with a woolen plume. Also typical was the numerous territorial militia, which stood alongside the line regiments and which decided more than one battle at the close of the Napoleonic wars.
Fit the packs and let the cement cure before you start painting, otherwise the joint on the back is hard to clean up. The dark blue coat stands out over a gray undercoat; build the deep blue up in layers and lighten the edges of the folds. Do the facings and the straps last with a fine brush, and the white belts preferably in two passes, so that the blue does not show through.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Paints, glue and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
