A splitter with six outputs and six connecting cables with quick connectors to go with it. It serves to let all the LEDs in a model be powered from one power supply, without having to twist and solder the wires together. One place thus becomes a clear hub of the wiring, one that can be reached and in which a fault can be traced.
A splitter distributes power, it does not amplify it: the total draw of all the connected LEDs has to be within what the supply can manage. Watch the polarity, as LEDs light only when wired correctly. Place the hub where it can be reached, ideally under the base board of the diorama, and relieve the strain on the cables so that the pull does not go onto the joints. If you are building several circuits, label them; after a while you will no longer know from memory which cable leads where.
For builders of lit dioramas and buildings, for owners of display cases with several lit models and for anyone who wants light wiring to be clear and repairable. It will be appreciated above all by anyone who builds a scene in stages and expects to add further lights gradually as the diorama grows.
These are electrical components. Store them out of the reach of children, do not short the conductors and do not use damaged cables.
