69.011 Dark Red Matt

Vallejo Mecha Color Dark Red - a matte acrylic paint

This dark red shade from the Mecha Color line is a water-thinnable acrylic in a matte finish in a 17 ml dropper bottle. Mecha Color is designed for robots, Gunpla, sci-fi machinery and figures with the emphasis on the resistance of the surface to abrasion, scratches and knocks. The paint is non-toxic and has no smell.

Use

• Applied with an airbrush as well as a brush; for spraying it can be thinned with water, with airbrush thinner or with flow improver.
• It suits prominent red areas, markings and color accents on models.
• The matte surface takes washes, pigments and further weathering well.
• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use and lay it on in thin coats.

Who it is for

For builders of Gunpla and sci-fi models and for figure painters who need a durable matte acrylic for plastic, resin and metal.
