A green-blue matte acrylic, Vallejo Mecha Color. A transition tone that ties neighboring green and blue fields on a model together.

The designation 69.027 carries a shade whose point is to reconcile two colors that would otherwise grate side by side. When a machine has a blue hull and green limbs, a hard break tends to show along the boundary; a thin veil of this tone on the joining edge brings both fields optically closer and the scheme gains calm. On its own it looks like a saturated sea green with a marked blue component.
The technique is used only once both neighboring areas are finished and dry. The airbrush is held square to the edge, the pressure is drawn as low as possible and the paint is laid on as a hint only, so that what lies beneath shows through. It serves just as well for tinting clear parts, where a few light coats turn colorless plastic into the tinted glazing of a cockpit.
Because it lies midway between two basic colors, it is easy to start from when looking for unusual tones. A drop of yellow shifts it toward the toxic green used on science-fiction displays, while a drop of white creates the faded variant that suits old machines long left standing outdoors. Mix in small amounts over a white ground, or you will judge the resulting tone on paper badly.
