The collector figure 75mm Ufficiale Bersaglieri Tripoli 1941 captures an Italian officer of the elite infantry in the Libyan port.
Responsibility details are not available.
The large resin casting with a figure height of seventy-five millimeters represents an Italian officer in North Africa. The number in millimeters is this brand's measure of the size of a figure, not the scale of a kit, and it opens up room for careful painting of the face, the collar patches and the fabrics.
The bersaglieri corps was founded in 1836 in the Kingdom of Sardinia by Alessandro La Marmora as fast rifle infantry. Their recognizable marks have remained the plume of capercaillie feathers on the headgear and the marching pace at a jog, which the units keep to this day. During the Second World War bersaglieri battalions served in Africa as a reconnaissance and motorized element. Tripoli was at the same time the main port through which reinforcements, fuel and supplies flowed into Libya, and from which the coast road led east.
Wash the casting, cut the casting remains off and fill any small bubbles with putty. In the large format every imprecise transition shows, so it pays to spray the primer on thinly and to build up layers only on that. A tropical uniform looks more convincing when the shade of the blouse and the trousers differ slightly. Build the plume of feathers from a dark base toward brightened tips and leave it rather matte.
The figure is unpainted and without paints in the box.
