About product

Revell Aqua Color 92 Messing — brass, metallic (18 ml)

A water-thinnable acrylic paint from the Aqua Color range in a metallic brass shade. The paint has only a slight odor, contains practically no organic solvents and is not flammable. It is thinned only with water or with Aqua Color Mix, not with enamel or cellulose thinner. The bottle holds 18 ml.

Use

  • Stir the paint thoroughly before use — the metallic pigment settles at the bottom.
  • It looks best over a smooth, finely sanded surface.
  • It is applied with a brush as well as an airbrush; for an airbrush, thin it with water or Aqua Color Mix.
  • Apply metallics toward the end — they are harder to overcoat and to mask.

Who the paint is for

It suits brass parts, cartridge cases, fittings, instruments and period metal elements on models and accessories. Suitable for modelers of all levels.

Keep out of the reach of children and ventilate while working. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

FAQ

It is a metallic and the metal pigment settles at the bottom. Without stirring the shade would not be even.

A metallic looks best over a smooth, finely sanded surface.

Rather toward the end of the build, because it is harder to overcoat and to mask.
