Vallejo Model Color Burnt Cadmium Red (RAL 8012)

A single bottle of Vallejo Model Color acrylic paint, 17 ml, with a dropper cap. Burnt Cadmium Red is a muted red shifting toward brown, close to reference RAL 8012 (red-brown). The paint is water-thinnable, matte and abrasion-resistant once dry.

Use

  • With a brush straight from the bottle; once thinned with water or Vallejo thinner, also with an airbrush.
  • Suited to reddish-brown bases, rust, brick, leather features, and as part of German camouflage schemes that use this tone.
  • Apply in thin coats; build up richness by layering.
  • Mixes well into reddish-brown transitions and weathering.
