A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains forty-eight figures in eight poses. The figures are unpainted and molded in one piece. The subject is Indian infantry in British colonial service, that is, the units with which the British army leaned on local soldiers in every campaign of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
The Indian regiments formed the backbone of British power in Asia. The soldiers wore a khaki field uniform and a turban, which remained their mark of recognition even after modern equipment was introduced. The units took part in the campaigns on the northwest frontier, in the Sudan and in China, and their training and discipline were comparable with the British battalions. During the First World War the Indian divisions then fought in France and in the Middle East.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. Do not paint the khaki in a single tone but bring it to life a shade lighter and a shade darker, and the formation will not look flat. The turban is the main distinguishing element and you can set it apart in color by unit. Leave the boots and the straps brown. With a large number of pieces, lay the base coats down in bulk and finish only the faces by hand.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
