The whole palette for an airbrush

Game Air carries the same color tones as the brush branch of the same brand, but in a different consistency. The pigment is ground more finely and the binder thinned enough for the mix to pass through a nozzle without seizing. The shade is not shifted by that; what changes is the route by which it reaches the surface: instead of one covering stroke, several thin sprays arise that build on one another.

As many coats, as much saturation

Every spray is semi-transparent in itself, so the resulting color depends on their number. Two coats give a damped, slightly grayed position of the tone, five give full depth. That is exactly why a smooth transition can be sprayed from two neighboring bottles: the lighter shade is let to pass freely into the darker one and the boundary between them disappears, which with a brush costs considerably more work.

What the full collection covers

A collection of this scope holds the whole spectrum: flesh positions, saturated basic colorants for cloth and cloak fabric, damped earthy tones for leather and wood, metallic shades and supporting grays. Neighboring tones are built as triplets, where the middle one serves as the base, the darker one as the shadow in the folds and the lighter one on the edges. A dried coat has a matte surface, on which glazes and pigments then hold.

Before filling the cup it is enough to shake the bottle properly; no further thinning is usually necessary. The dropper cap allows even a single drop to be measured out, which comes in handy when mixing an intermediate tone of your own from two neighboring bottles. When you then need to repeat the same measure, the second portion comes out identical in color and the repaired part does not differ from its surroundings.
