Deactive White (Semi-Gloss) - a color from the Gundam series

A modeling paint from the Japanese brand Gunze from the series of colors for kits from the Gundam universe. The word Deactive in the name refers to the finish of machines in the inactive state, when the armor loses its color. The designation Semi-Gloss in the name gives a semi-gloss surface.

What the inactive finish means

Some machines on the real subject have armor that holds its color only while running; as soon as they lose their energy, their finish lightens into neutral tones. Modelers make use of that as a subject for a build in its own right - a machine built in the inactive state looks completely different from the same machine in combat colors, and it is a rewarding subject for a diorama after a fight has ended. The white version of this color covers the light areas of such a finish. Because it is an unobtrusive area with no contrast, all the more will the work with shadows show on it.
