About product

Vallejo Flat Red – Matte Acrylic Paint 17 ml

A highly pigmented, water-thinnable acrylic paint in a 17 ml dropper bottle. The shade is a pure matte signal red suited to national markings, vehicle details, and small accessories. The paint has excellent coverage, flows well, and is water-resistant once dry.

Use

  • Thinned with water or with the thinner recommended by the manufacturer for acrylics.
  • The line is thick and tuned for brush application; for airbrush spraying, thin the paint so it does not clog the nozzle.
  • Shades from this line can be mixed with each other and dry to an even matte finish with no brush marks.
  • Fresh mistakes can be corrected with water or alcohol; once dry, the coat is permanent.

Who it is for

Suitable for modelers and figure painters who appreciate an opaque matte acrylic for detailed hand-painting.

A product for painting models. Keep out of reach of children, ventilate while working, and close the bottle tightly after use.

FAQ

Yes, but it is a thick line meant for the brush, so thin it with water or an acrylic thinner before spraying, otherwise it may clog the nozzle.

It is thinned with water or an acrylic thinner; wet paint and tools clean up with water, while dried paint needs alcohol.

The shade is fully matte. If you need shine, coat the dried paint with a gloss acrylic varnish.
