A Model Color shade named after the uniforms of German tank crews. It belongs on figures and on the canvas details that are painted with a brush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Its turn comes at the moment the model is glued together, sanded down and primed. This is a tone for figures, specifically for the uniform of a German tank crew, that is for the part of the work where fabric has to be told apart from leather, metal and the straps and harness. On a crew it is applied as a continuous area, not as a transition: first it covers the jacket and the trousers and only then is anything built on it.
The number of the shade is part of the name, so you will come back to the same tone even a year later, when you are buying a second bottle for a diorama still under construction. With crews that carries weight, as finishing a figure already begun with a different uniform tone does not pay off.
It works best in a pair with a dark wash for the folds and a light flesh tone for the face and hands. Nothing stands in the way of mixing it with the other paints of the same acrylic family, because it is one coherent palette. It can be used through an airbrush once thinned, but the center of gravity of this paint lies with the brush and with small areas, where the difference between fabric and leather is decided over a few millimeters.
