Gunze H100 Fluorescent Green — Aqueous Hobby Color

A gloss fluorescent (neon) green from the Aqueous Hobby Color acrylic range by Gunze (Mr.Hobby). It is a water-thinnable acrylic in a 10 ml bottle — it thins and cleans with water or with Aqueous thinner and is not mixed with lacquers or with other chemistries. This is a bright effect color for the places that are meant to look as if they glow.

Use

• Ideal for the energy and light elements of sci-fi and anime models, for racing liveries, warning areas and custom projects.
• The key tip: fluorescent colors have weak coverage and glow at full strength only over a white (or very light) base. Applied straight onto dark plastic the effect is lost — put down a white surfacer or base coat first.
• With a brush it usually needs no thinning and one or two coats are recommended; for the airbrush thin it with Aqueous thinner (Mr.Hobby T110/T111).
• The gloss surface and good leveling give a smooth, saturated result.

Who it is for

For gundam/mecha and sci-fi modelers, for builders of racing and custom liveries and for anyone who needs the effect of a glowing green. Fluorescent pigment fades over time in daylight and under UV light — it is worth protecting the finished model with a clear (ideally UV) coat and keeping it out of direct sun.

The paint is flammable, use it in a well-ventilated space out of the reach of children. Intended for modeling use, it is not a toy.
