A set of modeling gravers of high-strength steel from the maker Meng, intended for engraving panel lines and fine grooves. A push broach is led forward and takes a continuous fine chip off the surface - that gives a clean groove of even width and depth, with no torn edges and with no material folded out to the sides, as happens when engraving with a needle.
The set is intended for modelers who restore lines sanded away during filling, deepen shallow factory relief or add panel work of their own. The quality steel edges keep the geometry of the cutting edge even with frequent work on putty and resin, so it is a long-term investment in the equipment of a workshop.
The tools have sharp edges - work with deliberation and store them out of the reach of children.
