The Gunze Mr.Color C528 modeling paint listed under the designation IDF Gray 1 1981 Sinai. A gray shade for models of Israeli vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
C528 is a gray shade from the Mr.Color modeling range by Gunze, listed under the designation IDF Gray 1 1981 Sinai. It aims at models of Israeli vehicles, where a uniform gray finish is the defining element of the overall look. It is exactly on such models that the shade matters more than on colorful camouflage: the whole surface is one color, so every difference in tone and in sheen stands out.
Shake and stir the container thoroughly before use, because the pigment settles at the bottom. Use the thinner the manufacturer specifies for the Mr.Color range and keep to the thinning ratio given on the packaging; do not carry habits from other ranges over here. Apply several light coats instead of one heavy one and let the paint set between coats. Work in a well ventilated space.
A single-color model needs an even base; an uneven surface will show as blotches under one shade. Test the spray beforehand on a piece of scrap plastic, because once dry the paint usually looks different from how it looks in the container. If you intend to apply the paint to clear parts or over an older coat from another range, check the compatibility on a scrap piece first. Then bring the uniform surface to life with shading, picking out the edges and a layer of dust.
Thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
