Infinite Justice Type Pink Semi-Gloss

A semi-gloss pink for the Infinite Justice machine

A modeling paint from the line of shades created for kits of Gundam robots. The name assigns it to the Infinite Justice machine and gives its finish: pink in a semi-gloss sheen. The line is built so that the builder does not have to mix the shade and hits the color of the subject straight from the bottle.

Why a semi-gloss sheen

A semi-gloss surface is the most rewarding choice on the large machines of the animated Gundam world. A fully gloss surface brightens the reflections so much that the shape of the panels is lost in them, while a completely matte finish reads as flat and dusty on large areas. Semi-gloss holds the middle: the areas stay legible, the edges keep a sharp transition and a wash in the panel lines soaks only into where it belongs.

How to work with the paint

• Stir the bottle thoroughly before use; the pigment settles at the bottom.
• Apply in several thin coats, not one thick one; a saturated pink will otherwise flood the fine edges.
• Light shades come out better over a light base; on bare dark plastic they cover less well.
• Spray the parts separately, before you join them, so that the paint reaches into the recesses as well.
• Handle the thinning ratio, cleaning the tools and any clear coat according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.

Terms of supply

The paint alone is supplied. The kit, thinner, varnish and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and store the bottle carefully closed, out of the reach of children.
