Kaleido ColorWorks Diamond White, a 20 ml pearl acrylic paint

Diamond White is a premium water-thinnable acrylic paint from Kaleido ColorWorks (a sub-brand of Gaahleri), from its range of automotive shades, in a 20 ml bottle. It is a gloss pearl white that imitates the factory pearl finishes of car bodies. The paint is pre-thinned for spraying straight through an airbrush and the RapidAir technology gives a smooth, continuous film without the smell of solvents.

Use

• Spray it with an airbrush from a 0.2 mm nozzle upwards, ideally from a pressure of 10 PSI.
• The pearl pigments settle at the bottom, so stir the paint thoroughly before and during work.
• The pearl effect shows best over a smooth, even base; for depth it can be laid over a light base coat.
• Pearl is harder to overspray and to mask, so apply it toward the end; it dries to the touch in 15 to 20 minutes.
