Gunze Mr. Brush Round 4 — round synthetic brush (Gunze / Mr.Hobby)

A medium round brush from the Mr. Brush range by Gunze (Mr.Hobby) and probably the most used size of the whole range. The round shape runs to a point, but thanks to the greater body of hair it also manages a more continuous coat — which is what turns it into the all-rounder you reach for most often. The hair is synthetic: it springs well, returns to shape and stands up to modeling paints and their thinners.

Use

• All-round work — smaller areas, base coats on smaller parts and everyday detail in one brush.
• Laying paint on parts where you want a smooth stroke and still a point for the edges.
• Touch-ups and filling in larger details, for which the smallest size is needlessly small.
• Suitable for acrylics, lacquers and enamels — synthetic hair is not destroyed by thinners and cleans easily.

Who it is for

For every modeler who wants one dependable brush for most of the work. A quality tip keeps a sharp point, so one brush will paint a small area and finish a detail — a cheap brush splays out and loses its point. An ideal foundation to be complemented by a smaller size for the fine work and a larger one for areas.

Care: wash it out right after the work, do not let paint dry at the ferrule and dry it point upward.
