This is a modeling aid, not a paint: a set of plastic pipettes from the Polish maker Mirage Hobby, each with a volume of two milliliters. The box states five pieces and one piece extra. A pipette is a basic precision tool in modeling work, because both in mixing shades and in thinning paint for an airbrush it is the number of drops that decides the result, not an estimate, and that cannot be held to without a pipette.
For anyone who mixes their own shades or thins paint for an airbrush. It pays to have several and to set one pipette aside for water-thinnable products and another for solvent-based ones, because with solvent-based paints the plastic goes cloudy in time and a residue of the old shade can contaminate the new mix. A volume of two milliliters is comfortable for mixing small batches; for large volumes the pipette is small. It also pays to note down in advance how many drops of each component you used, because a shade mixed without a record will never be repeated and topping it up on the fly on a part-built model is the worst possible route.
Always ventilate when working with thinners and protect your eyes. Do not leave a pipette lying around full after use; a residue of solvent can attack the plastic. Keep out of the reach of children.
