About product

Vallejo Model Color Moon Yellow, a matte acrylic paint

Moon Yellow is an opaque matte water-based acrylic paint from the Model Color line in a warm, slightly muted yellow tone. It suits uniforms, accessories, markings and fantasy subjects. The paint is non-toxic, odorless and comes in a dropper bottle.

Use

  • Applied with a brush in several thin coats; for the airbrush it has to be thinned.
  • Shake the bottle well before use.
  • Yellow shades cover better over a light base, or over a white ground.
  • Combine it with Sun Yellow for brighter highlights.

Who it is for

For figure painters and plastic modelers alike. Suitable for beginners and experienced modelers alike.

Water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic and odorless. Store at room temperature out of the reach of children and shake before use.

FAQ

A warm, slightly muted yellow; brighter highlights come from combining it with Sun Yellow.

Yellow pigments are generally less opaque, so apply the paint over a light or white base.

Yes, but it is thick, so it needs thinning for the airbrush.
