This accessory is a set of resin drive sprockets and idler wheels for kits of the German Hetzer tank destroyer in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but detail parts meant to be swapped for the running gear from the original box. The number in the title distinguishes a particular type of wheel; the individual numbers in the range differ in pattern and finish, so they are versions in their own right.
The Hetzer (Jagdpanzer 38(t)) was a light German tank destroyer from the end of the Second World War, built on a proven chassis. It was produced in large numbers, and its running gear went through a range of workshop variants of drive sprockets and idler wheels during production, which differ from one another in the shape of the spokes and the rim.
Wash the mold release off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Assemble and paint the running gear before closing the lower hull up. For the patina use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects around the wheels.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
