This accessory is a set of resin drive sprockets and idler wheels for kits of the German Hetzer tank destroyer in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but detail parts to be swapped for the running gear from the box. The number in the title distinguishes the type of wheel; the individual numbers in the range differ in pattern and are versions in their own right.
The Hetzer (Jagdpanzer 38(t)) was a light German tank destroyer from the end of the Second World War, built on a proven chassis. Series production brought several forms of drive sprocket and idler wheel, which differ in the shape of the spokes and the rim. Choosing the right version contributes to the fidelity of a model.
Wash the mold release off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Assemble and paint the running gear before closing the hull up, and build the patina with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
