1:16 Empty Shells for .50 cal and .30 cal Machine Guns (50 + 50 pcs)

Black Dog 1:16 Empty Shells for .50 cal and .30 cal Machine Guns

This resin set holds empty spent cases in two calibers: machine-gun .50 (12.7 mm) and .30 (7.62 mm), fifty pieces of each caliber. It is not a kit or a working part, but a decorative accessory for raising the realism of vehicles, machine-gun nests and figure scenes in 1:16 scale.

What the accessory is for

Cases strewn beside a machine gun, around a mount or on the floor of a vehicle are among the typical details that enliven a diorama and give a scene its action. The two calibers make it possible to tell the heavy Browning .50 machine gun apart from the lighter .30 caliber weapons.

Use and tips

• Wash the mold release residue off the parts and cut them off the casting gates.
• Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Paint the cases in a shade of brass, and weather them lightly for a used look if you wish.

Who the set is for

• Builders of large vehicles and figures in 1:16 scale
• Builders of dioramas with machine-gun posts
• Modelers who want realistic detail around weapons

This is a resin accessory. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
